In this video I show a brand new way to use FireWire devices with newer laptops using USB4 or Thunderbolt 3 and 4. This method uses a desktop PCIe card in an M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure/dock that passes the PCIe data directly to the processor, so its not affected by the legacy Thunderbolt 1 and 2 adapters no longer working on newer Intel processors.
