Today I'm rooting loops on one of my Premium Reborn baby dolls. So let's talk about the Root-A-Loop microrooting method. Root-a-Loop is great for beginners because: you have control over how many strands of hair your grab you can see exactly where you place your hairs you can use almost any barbed needle to do it! To successfully root-a-loop, keep these 3 tips in mind: 1. Straight hair works best when you root-a-loop. If your hair is curly or wavy, carefully flat iron your lock of hair. 2. Long hair makes better loops. You're rooting from the middle, so you need twice the length of hair. This also makes it easy to hold on to loops that pull further away from your lock. 3. Hold less hair than you normally would. The fewer strands you're holding, the easier it is to see your loops. When you get the hang of it, you can root pretty fast! Works for human hair and mohair.
