FOR SALE 1969 Lotus Europa S2 Type 54 Customized as a tribute to the 47R model 12,183 kilometers on the odometer. This journey of modification to the 47R began with a desire for more than what the original offered. The body was stripped and refinished with double-layered FRP in a classic Lotus color scheme, complete with yellow stripes extending to the rear, faithfully capturing the essence of the 47R. The rear body was widened to accommodate 215 tires, resulting in a Type 54 that proudly dons the appearance of the 47R. The suspension features AVO and the arms have been fitted with pillow ball joints, while the Panasport wide rims and ADVAN Sport tires ensure strength and performance that can rival any. The original Renault 1600cc engine has also undergone a one-off transformation, with custom intake and equal-length exhaust manifolds, Weber 45DCOE twin carbs, and NAGAI transistor management, elevating the driving experience to a whole new level. The brakes were upgraded with Caterham 4-pot calipers, and the cooling system now boasts twin radiators to address heat management. The aesthetics are impeccable, and this exceptional vehicle, reluctantly, is now seeking a new owner...
