Please join Professor Ayako Huang for a series of presentations on Leading Change and Organizational Renewal. Technological disruption occurs in ways that are faster, simpler and cheaper than before. The need for organizations to meet and to cope with changing conditions requires innovation, creativity, and flexibility. This workshop will help develop the skills to help individuals, teams, and organizations to stay resilient amid the turbulence that comes with change. Attendees of this change management workshop learn how to— • Identify various reactions to change and the reasons behind them • Develop readiness to embrace change and overcome resistance • Build the communication skills to influence follow through on the change initiative • Design momentum and accelerate the change process Topics Covered: Lesson 1 March 21: Define the change and identify key players with an action plan Lesson 2 March 28: Align current systems and communicate with those resistant to the change Lesson 3 April 4: Establish change performance measurement and monitor results of adoption Lesson 4 April 11: Practice lessons learned, transfer results, and build organizational capabilities Professor Ayako Huang's work focuses on organizational behavior, organizational change, leadership and team building, and sustainable community development. She has published a peer-reviewed journal article and has presented various papers at national and international conferences. She currently serves as director of the online & evening/weekend MBA programs at MUM. Funding for these Biz Training workshops is part of a year-long grant that the M.U.M.
