🔧 Welcome to Wolfi’s Den! I bring retro consoles, PCs, and nostalgic gadgets back to life—one capacitor at a time. I found this old PC listed as “not working” on an online auction site. It arrived in terrible shape — yellowed plastics, a cracked front panel, a bent chassis, and a dead power supply. Even the motherboard and GPU were warped from impact. I decided to bring it back to life. 💾 In this video you’ll see: full recap and repair of the PSU and motherboard retrobrighting of all plastics case straightening and metal cover restoration new paint job in retro beige and off-white drive cleaning, LED swap, and full reassembly The system specs: 🧠 Motherboard: Shuttle HOT-591P v3.1 ⚙️ CPU: AMD K6-2 450 MHz 💾 RAM: 128 MB 🎮 GPU: SiS 6323 4MB 📀 Drives: FDD, CD-ROM, WD 8.4 GB HDD (dead, unfortunately) Even though the hard drive couldn’t be saved, the rest of the machine now works perfectly — and looks like it just came out of the 90s.
