So with a little help from AI, we found a recipe and gave it a go. We've left the links to the recipes we used below. Hope you enjoy the video and we'll see ya in the next one! :) Pork Snitzel Recipe: https://pin.it/3bnwwhu0D Cheese Soup Recipe (makes 2 servings) Ingredients: 1 tbsp butter 2.5 oz (1/3 to 1/2 cup) diced onion 1 tbsp all-purpose flour 3/4 tsp chicken base (or broth) 11/2 cups water 3/4 cup shredded white cheddar 11/2 tbsp beer -Tiny pinch of white pepper Small dash of Tabasco Method: 1. In a large kettle or stockpot, sauté the diced onions in the butter over medium heat until translucent (sweat them, don’t brown). 2. Add the flour to make a roux. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring, until the roux turns blonde/light golden (don’t let it get too dark). 3. Add the chicken base and water (or stock). Whisk vigorously to combine and prevent lumps. Cook for about 10 minutes until the roux flavor cooks out and the mixture thickens. 4. Slowly add the shredded white cheddar cheese, stirring or blending (an immersion blender helps for smoothness) until fully melted and incorporated. 5. Stir in the beer, white pepper, and Tabasco sauce. Heat through gently (avoid boiling after adding cheese to prevent separation). 6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed (it may be quite cheesy/salty from the base and cheese). Serve warm with pretzel rolls for dipping, just like at the restaurant!
