In this video, we go over the basics of the set up and operation of the Interpreter Control Unit (ICU) with the LT-800 Transmitter and PL6 Receiver. Quick Instructions: -Transmitters are ready to go –power on by holding the power button for 3 seconds and letting go again. -Receivers are ready to go - Turn on, and connect headsets. -Frequencies have been pre-programmed for you: (Consult the manual for additional frequencies) Channels and Frequencies: Transmitter/Receiver/Frequency A / 1 / 72.1 C / 2 / 72.5 E / 3 / 72.9 I / 4 / 74.7 R / 5 / 75.4 H / 6 / 75.9 -To change the frequency on the receiver, unlock first, then press Memo button, then lock again. -Microphone can be gently bent to adjust for the comfort of the interpreter. -Transmitters have a mute button for interpreters to ask a question of the speaker or to mute other communications or noises not intended for audience members using the receivers. P.S. There is a backup transmitter sent with every rental. Please note that both units CAN NOT be powered on and on the same channel at the same time. That will cause cross interference and the participants listening on the receivers will not be able to hear the interpreter using the transmitter.
