Audio-Technica AT-LP120xUSB is the updated model to the industry standard mid-range direct-drive turntable the AT-LP120. Released in 2019, the USB variant adds several needed improvements and refinements while retaining the charm of its predecessor. The AT-LP120xUSB is a direct-drive turntable, meaning it is powered by a large DC servo motor, allowing for a quicker start and smoother playback while using less energy. The turntable is entirely manually operated, meaning it has three selectable speeds (33, 45, and 78 RPM), a variable pitch control with quartz pitch lock, a die-cast aluminium stroboscopic platter with speed indicator, damped base construction for reduced low-frequency feedback coloration, a balanced S-shaped tonearm with hydraulically damped lift control, and lockable rest for smooth, accurate performance.
