[Product Features] Reduced detection delay: The industry’s top-class fast response. Core current sensors are used in inverters and DC-DC converters where high power conversion efficiency is required. Reducing the detection delay time of these sensors is an effective way to further enhance efficiency. This IC significantly reduces detection delay time with an industry’s top-class fast response of 1.25μs. High accuracy: The industry’s top-class noise performance. The accuracy of core current sensors is determined by the output offset voltage and the accuracy of the sensitivity setting. Additionally, under actual usage conditions, the performance of output noise voltage is another crucial parameter. This IC offers the industry’s top-class noise performance (input magnetic flux density referred noise voltage: 0.09μT/√Hz, output noise voltage: 1.89 mVrms), enabling high-accuracy current sensors that cannot be achieved with conventional linear Hall effect sensor ICs. High accuracy: Selectable frequency bandwidth. In core current sensors, there is a trade-off between detection delay time and output noise voltage performance. This performance is related to the frequency bandwidth specifications of the linear Hall effect sensor IC; by reducing the frequency bandwidth, the output noise voltage can be decreased. In this IC, the frequency bandwidth can be programmatically selected from 400kHz, 200kHz, and 100kHz. High accuracy, wide temperature: The thermal drift compensation for magnetic core. Core current sensors can achieve highly accurate detection independent of temperature by compensating for temperature variations in the magnetic core characteristics. This IC is equipped with a function that compensates for these temperature variations, providing a more straightforward and accurate solution over a wide temperature range compared to compensating current sensor outputs through arithmetic processing with a microcontroller.
