The Benchmark indices trade in the green. both the Sensex and the nifty 0.5% up in trade. The markets are led by the IT and financial stocks. The broader markets on the other hand are under performing the benchmark indices to trade in teh red. Gujarat State Petronet:climbs 3.2% after solid results. GSPL's 1Q net profit more than doubles to Rs 509 cr from Rs 221 crore a year earlier; revenue also more than doubles to Rs 3482 cr from Rs 153 crore. RIL gains 1% Indian conglomerate's renewable energy unit, along with hedge fund Paulson & Co, billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates and others, will invest $144 million in a U.S. energy storage company Ambri.
