It was here that Toppie first encountered the complexities of the industry, sparking his passion for improving healthcare financial processes. He holds multiple qualifications, including Basic and Intermediate Clinical Coding from Cape Town University, Advanced Clinical Coding from the DUX Academy of Healthcare, and Anatomy, Physiology, and Terminology from the same institution. Additionally, he has completed CPT Coding training at Cape Town University and has studied Practice Management and Medical Debt Recovery at the Dalmor Medical Administration Institute. Toppie also extended his knowledge abroad, studying The Transition to ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS 11th Edition in Australia.
