A couple of hours spent on Vilnius station on my birthday. The moves include LG Maroon with Cream lining, TЭП60-287 on the Vilnius to Šeštokai train for cross border traffic with Poland. LG Dark blue and yellow striped TЭM2-1328 which comes into the station light engine. LG Red and Cream DR1A-298-3 rolling into the station as a 4 car set with 2 power cars. LG Maroon and Cream TЭП70-0335 passing through the centre road having brought in the train from Klaipėda. A pair of 2M62’s can be seen passing through with a freight. LG Maroon with Cream lining,TЭП60-0923 rolls into the station with the even days service from Riga to Truskavec in Ukraine. (Ryga to Truskavecas on the destination board) This engine would have gone light to Riga to collect the train and bring it south. The stock is LDZ ad the train will pass through Belarus to get to Ukraine. Maroon with yellow and White lining, БЧ M62, M62-1167 carrying the SZD “TOPS” number 15110208. working the service from Riga to Truskavec in Ukraine. This will take the train south on its next leg. finally, we see nearby plinthed Russian gauge Kriegslok TЭ 7517.
