there is a story behind this one. I was telling the guys in the Distractions about a documentary I saw where they talked about two groups of scientists who absolutely hated each other. Each group thought the other were the dumbest people on the planet. It turns out the problem was that one group said there were 11 dimensions, and the other said there were 12. I found this very funny for some reason. Two groups of what are supposed to be brilliant scientists that can't get along because of what seems to me to be an insignificant difference of opinion. Later they said something about how dimensions exist very close together, but can't interact with each other. When they fluctuate enough, they touch each other and a massive explosion happens. This is how the big bang happened that created our universe. Of all the theories out there, that is one. Then we started jamming to a bass line Terry came up with, and Don started singing words about dimensions, which make up a large part on the lyrics here. I managed to keep the bass part but I had to redo all the other parts. They just didn't record very well. The bass went direct to the recorder, So I could work with that, but the guitar and drums sounded terrible. Sorry Don, it wasn't a problem with what was played, it just sounded like a tin can for a snare, and boxes for the rest. My guitar may have been even worse. No amount of EQ could fix any of it. I thought I would finish it anyway, as a bit of a tribute to Terry, who passed away a few years ago. It was his bass line that started the whole thing. It's all meant to be a bit tongue in cheek, but it sounds cool to me, so here it is. I hope somebody enjoys it. I'm pretty sure Terry would.
