4 start resort in Cayo Coco, a little island off of Cuba that is dedicated to ONLY resorts. You will not find authentic Cuba living here, as there are only resorts on this island, making it a perfect get away!!!! Most of the staff travel 1 - 2 hours on a shitty bus to get to work here everyday & they only make $20 a month and most have to work 6 days a week.... The Cuba people are one of the kindest, most friendliest human's on earth. They have nothing and live in poverty compared to us, Cuba is a 3rd world country. Please be kind and show your support with a tip and a friendly smile greeting them with an "Hola" which means hello, 'gracias' which means thank you 'de nada' which means you are welcome and ciao or 'adios' which mean good bye! The food is not the greatest for flavorings, Cuba is land locked, which means one day they may have ketchup and the next day they won't. One day they have mint they next 5 days they won't. Please do not go there with high expectations.... The rooms are ok, I did not see a bug in my room while I was here, my pillows, blankets and towels were good. $20 morning horse back rides down the beach was amazingggg!♥ Did you know you can bring as much food as you want in your check-in luggage? DO IT! But make sure the snacks are contained really well and DO NOT EAT them in your room. You WILL be bombarded in tiny tiny ants!
