It's an early Hearths Warming present! I love the holiday season and this is one of my all time favorite Holiday songs. The most famous version is of course by Burl Ives, who first performed this song as well as "Silver and Gold" in the Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer holiday special by Rankin Bass released in 1964 But the song was written by Johnny Marks in 1962 and was released by The Quinto Sisters on their album "Holly jolly Christmas" The version we all know is a slowed down version from the Rankin Bass recording and recorded in 1965 for Burl Ives Christmas album "Have a Holly jolly Christmas" and it's the version Keyframe and I have covered here. Thanks so much to Keyframe for the backup vocals here, again coming though with some killer work! catch her channel for more singing and fun! / @cosmickeyframeproductions Wonderful art done by the fabulous Nanook123! And her cookie horse, Gari, joins us on banjo. Check her out on Deviant Art! http://nanook123.deviantart.com This is the first of two Hearth's Warming gifts for you, my fans, this year. Thank you all for sticking with me over the years and I will reward you with more content very soon!
