🇮🇳 79th Independence Day Celebration 🇮🇳 Theivanai Ammal College for Women (Autonomous), Villupuram, celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15th August 2025 with pride and enthusiasm. The event began with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony by Principal Dr. J. Kalaimathi, who in her address paid tribute to freedom fighters, highlighting the valour of Cuddalore Anjalai Ammal. She urged students to uphold patriotism and work towards fulfilling the dreams of our nation’s heroes. 🇮🇳 The celebration featured a vibrant cultural programme with patriotic songs, spirited dances, and inspiring student speeches reflecting on India’s freedom struggle and the role of youth in nation-building. Competitions organized by the College Student Council and Event Organizing Committee added to the festive spirit, with winners receiving prizes and certificates. The NCC Parade showcased discipline and national pride. 🇮🇳 Chairperson of the College Student Council, Ms. Zameen Mihraji, welcomed the gathering, and Vice Chairperson Ms. P. Gayatri proposed the vote of thanks.
