Doneraile Drama Society's production of the Tommy Marren play: Nobody's Talking To Me. All should be delightful when celebrating your Diamond Wedding Anniversary, or so you would think (after putting up with each other for that long). But that is not the case in the Conway household. The story is set in the kitchen of Mattie and Maggie Conway on the day of their 50th wedding anniversary. The "happy couple" haven't spoken a single word to one another for almost TEN years, only the occasional grunt of a monosyllable when forced to make a public appearance. When Fr. O' Toole, the Parish Priest, gets wind of the great occasion in the parish, he thinks it would be just the thing to surprise them by renewing their wedding vows (not knowing of course that they would rather renew the dog licence than the marriage one). Throw an eccentric sister-in-law, an only daughter, a neighbour who is a "sandwich short of a picnic", an ex-boyfriend, and a wake taking place next door into the mix, and hilarity ensues....
