Liberal has a 'good enough conservative pull' to not go left any further: Teena McQueen

Liberal Party Vice-President Teena McQueen says she thinks Liberal has a good enough “conservative pull” in the government not to go left any further. “I think a lot of thought has gone into the candidates, sadly, it’s a little bit late, but it’s done now, and we’re ready to call the election and get on with it,” Ms McQueen told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. She said the one thing she asks from the candidates is they support Liberal policies and values and the Prime Minister of the time. “It’s no point trying to appease people that will never vote for us; that’s fact. “Maybe some of these that if they do lose their seats because they’ve gone left, you know, maybe next time a better choice will be made. “But I’ve always said always stick to our policies and principle, never try and appease those that will never have any time for us; it’s like banging your head against the wall; it’s of no use.”
