Mini Thrift Haul, Cook With Me, and Moving the Camper FOR GOOD | Revitalizing an Old Farm in NC

Welcome to Calico Cow Acres, we're Mickayla and Taylor! We have a new-to-us 8 acre homestead in the foothills of North Carolina. Our homestead used to be an old horse farm, and we're working to transform it into our dream property! We had a nice weekend doing "local" things, dropping off trash at the dump (not so nice, but necessary!), thrifting, the farmers market, and chatting to some people about beekeeping! Unfortunately, I got super sick this week, but I'm on the mend & starting to feel a bit more energized. This seemed like the perfect time to make some homemade chicken noodle soup! I've also been participating in the "roots & refuge 365 challenge" and I've been loving it. I can't wait to see what comes of it! Keep an eye out for our Seed Starting Guide this coming week!
