Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus with His disciples, where He instituted the sacrament of the Eucharist and demonstrated profound humility by washing their feet. The word "Maundy" comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning "command," referring to Jesus' command to His disciples to love one another as He has loved them. This day also marks the beginning of the Triduum, three days leading to Easter. We are called to reflect on the gift of the Eucharist, the call to service, and the depth of Christ's love and sacrifice. Mass celebrated by His Eminence Cardinal William Goh.
