Hungarian Longbow Pt 2

The Hungarian Longbow by longbow maker is a great entry level bow in to this style of archery. These bows are primarily used with the thumb draw style of shooting, but can also be used with a traditional Mediterranean or three under style of draw. Coming in at 54 inches overall length, rated at 35 lbs. @ 28 inches draw weight, the bow handles well and is a fun bow to go out and spend the afternoon at the range. There are a few things to consider with this bow. The string that comes with it will get you up and going, however you will need to find arrow nocks to fit it, if you choose to keep the stock string. I opted to make my own endless loop string for the bow and achieved much better results with arrow flight and accuracy. All in all this bow is fun to shoot and will provide you some insight into an alternative way of archery.
