This DIY multi-purpose bench is excellent for doing seated exercises at home. It provides a great deal of space to engage a multitude of uses ranging from seated jacks to bench press. I know you might think this is too complex to build on your own, and I get it. However, creating this DIY seated workout bench isn't as hard as you think. My advice is to find a family member or friend who has an eye for woodwork. Show them this build and ask them to help you put it together. You will never have to worry about going down to the floor to do sit-ups because you can do it right from your bench. This DIY seated exercise bench measures 19 1/2 inches in height and 4 feet in width. Talk about butt room! You can shorten the height if you are not as tall as I am. My height is 6'2'' Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a bench that might not be so good, you can pay $30 to create something that is safe and will last. This bench is also a great decorative piece to your living quarters. You can place plants or books on it when you have company visiting or use it to show them some of your best chair workout moves.
