سعاد العامري هي مهندسة معمارية فلسطينية وإحدى الرائدات في هذا المجال عربياً. تنقّلت بين لبنان والأردن والولايات المتحدة الأميركية وبريطانيا لكنّها استقرت في العام ١٩٨١ في رام الله حيث أسست مركز "رواق" لحماية التّراث. لها عدّة روايات أشهرها "شارون، حماتي وأنا" التي كتبتها خلال الحصار الاسرائيلي لمدينة رام الله حيث روت مساكنتها مع حماتها أثناء الحصار. مع "ريكاردو كرم" برنامج حواري منوّع يستقبل ضيفاً أو مجموعة ضيوف، جميعهم ملهمين. يهدف من خلاله ضخّ الحماسة عند الشباب عبر الإضاءة على مواضيع أو حكايا تشكّل مصدر وحي لهم حتى يقولوا :"أنا ايضاً أستطيع". Suad Al Amiry is an author and also an architect living in the West Bank city of Ramallah. She studied architecture at the American University of Beirut, the University of Michigan, and the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. From 1991 to 1993 Amiry was a member of a Palestinian peace delegation in Washington, D.C. She is Director and founder of the Riwaq Centre for Architectural Conservation; the center was founded in 1991; the first of its kind to work on the rehabilitation and protection of architectural heritage in Palestine. Amiry was a member of staff at Birzeit University until 1991, since then she has worked for Riwaq where she is the director. "Maa Ricardo Karam" features an inspiring combination of Arab key personalities from a diversity of fields, recognized as such abroad, but most of whom slipped under the media "radar".
