He graduated from Azerbaijan State Conservatoire in 1957. Since then he taught at Azerbaijan State Conservatoire. His work list ranges from orchestral work to solo music, from large symphonic work to popular songs. String Quartet No.2 was composed in 1959 and is dedicated to Gara Garayev. In this work, Mirzazadeh rejected the folk genre images and enhanced the psychological world and put forward his own composing principles. In this work, the edge parts contradict with sharp Toccata movement and result in escalation of dramatic nature and enrichment of psychological content.
