As the library supervisor at Sunnydale Public Library in San Diego, CA, you have developed a presentation that showcases the library's programs and services, and announces the 50th anniversary celebration. Begin by applying the Office theme to the presentation. 2. Modify the Office theme by selecting the far right theme variant in the selection of variants. Change the theme fonts to Century Schoolbook. Change the theme effects to Top Shadow. Customize the color of Accent 5 by changing the color to Dark Blue, Hyperlink (11th column, 1st row in the Theme Colors palette). Save the custom theme color as Blue. 3. Switch to Slide Master view, and select the Office Theme Slide Master (used by Slide(s) 1–9) at the very top of the selection of slide layouts. Change the background style to Style 10. 4. Select the Title Slide Layout (used by Slide 1), then change the font color of the Master title style to Dark Blue, Accent 5, Darker 25% (9th column, 5th row in the Theme Colors palette). 5. Select the Content with Caption Layout (the eighth placeholder from the top and used by Slide 8). Rename the Content with Caption layout Anniversary. Insert a Picture content placeholder. Change the Height to 1.5 and the Width to 11.5. Use Smart Guides to position it as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1: Picture Content Placeholder Sized and Positioned 6. Select the Blank layout and name it Final. Change the slide background to the Newsprint texture. Insert the picture Support_PPT365_EOM4-1_Reading.jpg. Crop the picture to the cloud shape. Change the height to 4" and allow the width to resize proportionally. Use your mouse and Smart Guides to position the cropped picture as shown in Figure 2, and then close the Slide Master view. On Slide 7 ("Kids & Teens"), change the slide background to a Pattern fill that uses the Dotted diamond grid pattern with the foreground color set to White, Background 1 (1st column, 1st row in the Theme Colors palette) and the background color set to Dark Blue, Accent 5, Lighter 80% (9th column, 2nd row in the Theme Colors palette). 8. On Slide 8 ("Celebration!"), apply the Anniversary layout. Insert the file Support_PPT365_EOM4-1_Fireworks.jpg in the Picture placeholder. 9. Go to Slide 9 ("Books & Beyond...") and verify that the Final layout has been applied to last slide in the presentation. In Slide Sorter view, your presentation should look like the Final Figure on the following page. Save your changes, close the presentation, and exit PowerPoint.
