With lives in danger after the River Elwy burst its banks, locals are evacuated from their flooded homes in the North Wales town of St Asaph. Homeowners in areas at risk of flooding have been warned their lives are in danger after a river broke its banks and houses were engulfed by water. The Environment Agency issued a severe flood warning in the Welsh city of St Asaph in Denbighshire, where the River Elwy reached record levels and surged through flood defences.
