Chemo round two was on May 31, 2019 and it followed a pretty similar pattern to the first round. As I upload this, I am on day 10 and I would say I feel slightly more fatigued than last time, I have slightly more mouth sours, and today I got an awful headache but I think that was brought on by Neulasta. For myself, chemo effects me as I’m getting the Cyclophosphamide and the first 4-5 days after are consistently bad. After that, I start to improve marginally each day. My first round of chemo was on May 17, 2019. My first four rounds (out of eight total) will be AC chemo, so I am receiving Adriamycin “Red Devil” (Doxorubicin) and Cytoxan (Cyclophosphamide). I am on steroids for the four days after chemo and I receive Neulasta through one shot, 24-48 hours after chemo that I administer myself. I also take Emend and Ondissolve (amazing strip antiemetic). For sleep and anxiety I take Ativan, sparingly.
