Using a small shovel and her own hands, she cleared the path so the water could flow properly across the land. Then she brought a ladder and attended to the roof; a few tiles had shifted and needed to be fixed before the next rainfall. At that moment, she noticed that some water had seeped in through a corner and collected inside the house. One corner of the room had become damp. Fariba patiently took care of the problem. Once she felt at ease about the house, she headed to Dora Farm. The Nasro family had gone to the city, and Fariba, together with her grandmother, took care of the farm.
