RegicidalIRL will be all real life videos (VLogs, Basketball Trick Shots, Bloopers, Skits etc. This is just a commentary of my first reaction to the Combat Beta. I was granted full access to the Beta since I was a member for 12 months consecutively and today it was released. I decided to log in and record my first experience with it so you guys can feel what I was feeling and see what I was seeing. I know there are a million other videos about the Combat Beta out right now because it's new, but most of you guys wanted to see my reaction to it so I decided to post a video about it. There was a thread on the forums about rating the Combat Beta so far. This wads my response to it. (You can see my Pros and Cons about it here and my Over-all thought about it). Please read everything. "4/10 Pros: Combat definitely looks more cool and interactive, I like the graphical updates on most of the gear and the use gear has now (life point boost). Dual wielding is epic but can't tell if it is extremely useful yet. Skilling with the tab is quite cool, don't need mouse keys really (althought it most likely would be faster to use mouse keys), just put say the gold ore on your activity bar and left click it and it will drop the gold ore in your inventory. Cons: Really complicated, a lot of abilities (obviously will learn about them and which set-up is the best, etc as we play more with it). Not really sure on the effectiveness of weapons. The amount of life points are insane, obviously the hits are higher as well making it not much of a change, but I'm not sure on what my hits are actually equaling out to (i.e. - I hit a 1200, what is that in actual RS??). The stance when out of combat looks some what ridiculous. The "Equipment Stats" interface has too much going on, with your off-hand stats and your weapon stats, and your armor stats (once again we would get used to this over time but for now it's a lot going on). The levels on monsters seem like they were just made up on the spot. Teleports are harder to access because you have to click the ability book, the mage tab, the teleport tab, then finally you can teleport, and teleporting is supposed to be an easier method of transportation. Also some other small things (such as rocktails being more efficient for food than sara brews). Over-all I think it's not really needed and just complicated things more. I like the old style of combat that has been around since the game started. It kind of loses the "RuneScape" feel of combat and moves closer to resembling WoW or other activity bar games. I'm not a big fan for change, and I'm really trying to find all the "bright sides" within the Beta and this future update, but right now the cons out-weigh the pros heavily." Obviously the actual update will be much different than what we are seeing now, but I'm judging it off of what we have in front of us right now.
