Learn how to sketch various types of architecture in ink and watercolour with this series of 7 lessons and sketches. In this fourth lesson, I sketch a scene from the iconic town of Santorini. ----- MATERIALS I USED FOR ALL 7 SKETCHES 1. A spiralbound watercolour pad (A4 / American letter size). Cold-pressed (NOT) surface. 2. A travel set of 10 student watercolour pans: lemon yellow, cadmium yellow, cadmium red, alizarin crimson, Prussian blue, ultramarine blue, sap green, viridian green, yellow ochre, burnt sienna. I use a cheap set by Aquafine that I got from Amazon but any brand will do. Student quality is fine for sketching. 3. A watercolour pen brush. I use a couple of brands during the 7 sketches but I recommend Pentel over all others. 4. A black fine liner pen. I use a Sakura Pigma Micron pen with a 0.5 nib. Again, any brand is fine and a 0.5 nib is just a medium-sized nib. ----- REFERENCE PHOTOS Reference Photo (Courtesy of Russell Yan on Pixabay): https://art-tutor.s3.amazonaws.com/fi...
