How to load a mare and foal into a trailer without help. Make sure the door is propped open and the foal is right by the mare's side before you load the mare. Don't look directly at the foal and try not to square your body up to the foal. If you wait until the foal is beside the mare and looking into the trailer, when you load mom, 9 times out of 10, baby will jump right in. If not, unload mom and start again. If you make trailer loading a non-stressful experience the first few times, your foal will load beside mom without an issue! Thanks for watching!
