After repairing the display on this set & perfoming a full re-alignment, this Cybernet 134 (lower tier chassis version, Japan, 1981) was ready to test. Excellent receive & full 4W output on transmit. Recorded 3rd March 2026 Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile test route, the 'wrong side' of a hill. He stopped at the five mile point for a static low power test. The radio was set for 4.0W on full power & 0.4W (400mW) on low power. A standard replacement microphone was used throughout. At the end of the test, the factory original microphone was also demonstrated through to our base station. Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio (and new mike) which is fitted to the test vehicle at no cost to us.
