Hello Operators Today on OH8STN ham radio we are having a look at the Icom IC-705. The Icom IC-705 is a portable QRP 10 watt HF VHF UHF portable HF radio covering HF, 50Mhz, 144Mhz and 440 megahertz. It is D-STAR capable, and a valid option for off grid communications or preparedness. The IC-705 is an HF VHF UHF radio putting out 5 watts wth its internal battery, or 10 watts with an external supply. It was a complete pleasure operating portable ham radio and QRP with the IC-705.
