Apostle Grace Lubega 1 Corinthians 1:9 (KJV); God [is] faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. When most people think of the faithfulness of God, it is in line with the things that He has done. They bring to mind the time that He healed them when they were sick; the time He blessed them financially when they desperately needed money or the moment they received an answer to an issue that had been bothering them for a while. However, you need to look at the faithfulness of God from a much broader perspective. Look at it from the angle of the unseen things. It is hard for some people to say that God is faithful until they have the physical evidence of the things they desire. They cannot relate faithfulness with what cannot be seen, touched, smelt, or felt. But today, you need to open your eyes to what He is working behind the scenes for your sake; see the plans that He has for you; see the infallible truth that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purposes. Even though you cannot see the physical evidence, rest in the blessed assurance that our God is faithful. FURTHER STUDY: Jeremiah 29:11, 2 Timothy 2:13 GOLDEN NUGGET: Open your eyes to what God is working behind the scenes for your sake; see the plans that He has for you; see the infallible truth that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purposes. PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. You are too faithful to fail me, to disappoint me, or to leave me halfway. My eyes and my thoughts are continually set on You, the author and finisher of my faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
