The Clivia, an uncommon houseplant, is an easy cure for the winter blues. Blooming during the late winter with beautiful flowers in varying shades of red to orange, this plant in the Lily family, is easier to grow than orchids. Clivia need a month long period of cool weather followed by a rest period in order to bloom. These plants last for many years and can grow up to 3 feet tall and wide. Join me as I delve into the care and maintenance of these beautiful plants.
