God’s Love. This song initially was an instrumental. It wasn’t until recently that Eric decided to rearrange the music and add lyrics and vocals. And of course, he had me sing this song. When I heard the new arrangement and lyrics, it blew me away. I say this because I’ve always loved the instrumental, so hearing the melody and lyrics was a huge surprise. I keep telling Eric I’m his biggest fan. LOL! BTW! Someone from my comments asked the question: "Why did Eric decide to write lyrics to this song. Eric said that when he wrote this song, he could never hear the song with words. I believe it has been around since the year 2000. That is, until recently, at church, there was a baptism of a young girl named Rochelle. Her powerful testimony touched his heart because his daughter was also struggling with the same adversities in her life. And because he can't reach her anymore, he wrote this song, hoping one day she will find her dad's love for her through God's love. Hope this song brings you comfort.
