CM Mohan Majhi Assures Justice and Support to Odia Student Victim of Assault in Durgapur

Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has spoken with the Odiya student who was a victim of assault in Durgapur, West Bengal, over the phone. He communicated with the victim, her mother, and the Chairperson of the Women's Commission who was present. The Chief Minister wished the victim a speedy recovery and assured her of arrangements for her education in Bhubaneswar, along with a firm commitment to ensure swift punishment for the perpetrators. Mohan Majhi stated that the Odisha government fully stands with the victim. He also spoke with the victim's mother, reiterating that the Odisha government is making continuous efforts to ensure the criminals receive prompt and exemplary punishment. The victim is currently undergoing treatment.
