These eggs were collected the week of January 26th by Mrs. Renner. This was also the week we had so much snow and very cold temperatures. We weren't sure how the eggs would do after being out in such harsh conditions. The eggs were weighed and placed in the incubator on Tuesday Feb. 3. On Tuesday 2/10 day 8, we candled the eggs and all except egg 7 appeared to be fertilized. On Wednesday 2/18 when we candled the eggs, egg 3 and 11 appeared to have stopped growing, We detected no movement or growth in following candlings. Today Friday 2/20 is day 18 and the eggs are currently in 'lock down' so they are no longer being turned as the chick is positioning itself for hatching. Monday is day 21 - our expected hatch date, but we may see some pipping over the weekend. Please email me if you notice any movement. Eggs 1, 2, 3, 4 are closest to the camera as they were first eggs placed in the incubator and about 3 hours ahead of the others.
