** Please Note this video is a timelapse / hyperlapse. ** The South West Coastal 300 is a stunningly scenic 300 mile road trip around the South West of Scotland. If you are looking for breathtaking scenery, enchanting coastlines and new things to do and see, this is the road trip for you. From rolling hills and forests to magical coasts and lochs, the beauty of South West Scotland will captivate you from the moment you arrive. Whether you’re a nature lover, an adventure seeker or a history buff, there is much for you to discover along the South West Coastal 300! The SWC300 route is a 300 mile loop so you can join at any point, it’s just a short drive from Gretna Green and passes through Dumfries, Stranraer and Ayr. The roads are suitable for both cars and campervans, with many sections also suitable for cyclists. In July 2019 I took advantage of a deal for a day trip to Scotland on the Belfast to Cairnryan Route. Sailing out at about 7am and returning at about 7pm this trip can be done on such a timescale, but be warned, it is rushed. You won’t have time for a big sit down lunch, and loads of photostops. Ideally a few days would be great to really give yourself time to enjoy this route, but don’t discount it as a cracking’ day trip, if you are prepared to put in the miles. It is a glorious run packed with awesome scenery, coastal roads, country routes, taking in numerous small towns and villages and even a glorious mountain cut through pass. This video is simply a Timelapse of the route. There is no talking, no commentary, just some epic scenery, some epic roads, on a motorcycle all set to the backdrop of a happy, relaxing soundtrack.
