Be sure to check out Lowca's "Edward The Blue Engine" here!    • Edward The Blue Engine - By Lowca   A few months back, I was approached by Lowca (BrokenWall) to provide the music score for their newest project; a lovely adaptation and retelling of the very first two Railway Series stories about Edward, done both as a celebration for the 80th anniversary of the books last year and as a love letter to the little blue engine. This was a very big task for me to take on but also a very fun one as well, if not a bit tricky at times figuring out what to do for some scenes. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit anxious when putting this all together, as I really wanted to do the project justice seeing just how excellent everyone else involved did (you all ROCKED btw :D). In the end, I greatly enjoyed being able to take part and help arrange the soundtrack. Got to experiment a little bit with stuff like timing and different instruments in some areas, along with sprinkling in some fun little nods to other themes/scores here and there. An extremely big thank you to Lowca for their assistance, patience, and kind words during the making of this (even with how long it ended up taking me to complete everything as I've admittedly still plenty to figure out when it comes to making music). I had a great time working with them and highly recommend you check out the rest of their work as well! Last year was kind of a ride for me and I sadly didn't really get to contribute much to all the 80th anniversary celebrations myself but I suppose, in a way, I did end up doing so after all in the form of helping out with such a wonderful fan project. A turn of events I'm most happy and thankful for. Alright, enough of me yapping.
