First public consultation period launch webinar - March 2026

In this webinar, ASI’s Standards Team introduces the first public consultation versions for the draft ASI Performance Standard V4 and draft Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard V3. The Consultation period is open from 17 February to 20 April 2026. The session gives a practical overview of what’s changing (including the new structure, “leading practice” differentiation, strengthened materiality/applicability, and a proposed streamlined option for downstream certification), and highlights where stakeholder input is especially important across climate, nature, circularity, community rights, and workers’ rights. Chain of Custody is also covered, including confirmation that mass balance remains the most appropriate model for ASI, alongside consultation options for how mass balance could evolve and how far CoC streamlining should go.
