Stained trays? Sore gums? Nowhere to brush your teeth? Six months into invisalign, and I've got some tips and tricks to share! I have multiple toothbrushes. I have a wee tooth brush station set up nearby. Containing brush, toothpaste, floss and mouthwash, it's MUCH easier to get my teeth clean and trays back in quickly. Less faffing and hunting for things. Trays getting stained even although you brushed your teeth? I drink bright purple blackcurrant juice, and, no matter how perfectly I brush my teeth, my tongue retains the dye. SO. I say brush your tongue. I guess coffee and tea stain would be harder to see on the back of your tongue. But I really do think that's the clincher. Treat yourself to a tongue scraper. Yep. Sorry to be the one to break it to you. Floss after every meal. Trays can get a little tight and push in the wrong direction if there's food all up in places there shouldn't be. Have a chewie chew before bed. Sleeping is a huge chunk of time in a day. Make sure your trays are settled in before sleeping. Don't wear lipstick. That's all for now!
