First, he turned 39, then he played five sets, stayed on the court 4 hours 42 minutes, beat somebody 15 years younger and arrived in the quarterfinals with a finger-pointing, fist-pumping, swearing, laughing, riotous act that left just about everybody breathless. Except, of course, Connors, who had a few words left. “For me to pull out another stunt like this, how can you not laugh about it. . . . What the hell is going on here?” Connors said. As he walked out on Stadium Court, a sellout crowd of 20,000 serenaded Connors by singing “Happy Birthday.” Enjoy this match of awesomeness! ;)
