On Impulse - Animals As leaders Drum Cover Series - Track 4

What is the Animals as Leaders Drum Cover Series? It's an attempt to play every AAL track in chronological order on the drums - in one take. It's mainly an exercise for me to develop my drumming again after barely playing for the last 2 years. After learning the tracks I want to play them as more of a live performance and have fun with it, rather than worry about trying to get everything perfect and using multiple takes like I used to, which means there will be some mistakes/mistiming's, but I'm just rolling with it, perfection is overrated anyway. It will be interesting to see if I can complete the series or crack my brain into the abyss of odd time signatures and get admitted to an insane asylum. I think the latter is more likely... Thoughts on "On Impulse" - I think this is the quickest I've ever learnt an AAL track, taking significantly less hours to learn than the other tracks, excluding "Point to Point, which is only 40 seconds of drumming, so that doesn't really count! Still, there are a few difficult parts like the cymbal chokes, and the fills are a bit awkward in places, but overall definitely an easier track.
