How To Download Your Friends From Facebook Into a CSV File

Last week I was doing a webinar and I got asked a question that I did not feel I could answer right in the Webinar but I promised I would make a video with in the week to answer the question. Now the questions was "How do you download the email addresses from your facebook fan page. The class I was doing was all about Facebook Fan Pages. Want more traffic, lead, sales? It begins with strategy it ends with results. Number One in Search Engine Optimisation, SEO.com. It turns out that downloading the email addresses of your fans is not something you can do. What you can do though is download the email addresses of your friends and contacts on your personal page. Those you will be able to put into an email list such as Mailchimp. We are going to go through a quick video about how to download your Friends from your personal Facebook page. Hopefully this helps you out. The first thing you are going to do is go to Yahoo.com. You will need to have a Yahoo account in order to do what we are going to do on this video. If you don't have one you will need to create one today. I did not have one so I set it up a little earlier today. We are going to sign into our new or existing Yahoo.com account. You should be able to sign in with your Facebook account once you have created your Yahoo account. Now that we are inside our Yahoo account we are going to go into our Mail account. Next we are going to go to our contacts inside your mail account. Once inside you will see an Import contact Button with a Gmail, Outlook and Facebook logo. Go ahead and click on import contacts. Once we are inside that we will find the magic ingredient to getting your Facebook friends email addresses. You will click on the Facebook button and it will pull in the data from your Facebook account. Once you click on the Done button you will return to your contacts. You will see that you now have the email addresses of all of your contacts from Facebook. Once they are in your Yahoo mail account you can export them to Microsoft Outlook, Netscape Thunderbird, Yahoo .CSV, Vcard Single File. We are going to download these as a .CSV file I think that is going to be the most versatile item so that we can import them into another app. If you use Yahoo mail as your email client then you will leave them right here. Once you enter the code it will say your Download will start in 5 Minutes. That's how easy it is to download your Facebook friends email addresses. It is not a difficult task and it will give you all of your contacts from Facebook. You may not have all of those old friends email addresses in your contact list then this is an easy way to download those. One thing I would recommend if you are going to put these in an email newsletter list you should put together a preliminary email telling them 1. You are friends on Facebook. 2. Feel free to unsubscribe. 3. let them know the type of information to expect (For me that would be online marketing tips) When you send that out you will not get in trouble with your newsletter provider (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.) A lot of these providers have strict policies about sending unsolicited spam. That's my trick for today on how to get your Facebook Friends emails. You can't get the email addresses of your Fans from your Facebook Fan Page.
