Three Weird Superman Variants ~ Kenner Superman Man of Steel

If there is one thing I have learned in all my years of collecting action figures it's this: toy companies love their variants. They can all usually be boiled down to "Special Suit Batman" or "Ridiculous Suit Superman". Kenner with it's Superman Man of Steel action figure line was no different. A great line of figures that made 5 too many variants for their own good. Oh sure, variants aren't always all bad. The Kenner Dark Knight Collection had some pretty epic variants as did the 2000's Batman line of figures, but for the most part I think they were all pretty silly. The dirty truth about peg warmer...er...I mean variants is that they were created with the sole purpose of making the toy companies more money and NOT with honoring the characters. Oh look at me sounding all serious now. Honestly I don't care. I'm just going to have a bit of amusement poking fun at them because they're asking for it.
