The Red Rosettes We Need A Hero

Link to our Just Giving Page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraisin... The Red Rosettes are an all-female a capella Barbershop chorus based in Leyland, Lancashire. During the Covid-19 outbreak, we've been rehearsing virtually and doing everything we can to keep singing and supporting each other through this difficult situation. We individually recorded ourselves singing this song in our own homes. Over 40 recordings were then layered over each other to create the sound of us all coming together. Many of our Rosettes are keyworkers. They are our heroes. Each year the Red Rosettes choose a local charity to raise funds for. This year we chose an amazing charity that helps children and young people have happy moments with their families in their short lives: Derian House Children’s Hospice. In honour of our chosen charity you may spot we’ve included some Makaton. The Makaton language programme has been used with individuals who have cognitive impairments, autism, down syndrome, specific language impairment, multisensory impairment and acquired neurological disorders that have negatively affected the ability to communicate, including stroke patients We ask that you watch to the end of the video and if you enjoyed it please consider helping us support this amazing charity at a time that is even more challenging for them.
