Revirginzation is the process of a sexually active person attempting to regain virgin status by abstaining from sexual relations, esp. during the time just before marriage; also called secondary virginity, revirgination. It is a day care procedure done under local anaesthesia, the hymen is restored. Ideally always should be done AT LEAST 3 weeks prior to marriage/intercourse. The longer the duration post-repair of hymen the stronger the repair and more likelihood of bleed during intercourse. Once the hymen repair is done ,after 3 weeks the hymen becomes normal .
