Tecsart presents the EAT E-Glo S, a hybrid phono preamplifier for MM/MC cells. A dual ECC83 triode is used in each of the two gain stages, for very high gain and low noise. The first stage is a cascaded assembly of a tube and a pair of J-FET transistors connected in parallel. The RIAA equalisation is fully passive and is divided into two stages, allowing perfect impedance matching between the gain stage and the equalisation section. The E-Glo S has no global feedback. Special attention has been paid to the power supply. The chassis is made of solid aluminium, with impedance, load capacitance and gain controls. The switchable subsonic crossover is moderately effective and will have no unpleasant effect on the listening experience. Finish: piano black or Makassar side panels.
