Ok so what you do is throw the onions in for a minute over medium heat with Olive Oil in a large Skillet once Translucent throw in the mushrooms stir until browner and has soaked up the onion and oil so i would say 5 min over medium heat add Garlic fry for a min, Then Throw in the Tomatoes mash down with a Potato masher until the juice is incorporated and then add red wine for good measure about 1/2 cup of sour red wine. add one table spoon of Vegata ( Croatian Allspice you can buy at any grocery store smile emoticon ) 1 tbsp of garlic powder and a handful of basil mix into the sauce and keep stiring. meanwhile bring a big pot of salted water to a boil add spaghetti or penne how much you want is up to you ( i use one box ) and i love using De Cecco pasta ! boil for 8 min strain that sucker ! let it sit for a min while you add two spoonfuls of butter mix into sauce and then put the pasta into the sauce! and toss until the sauce is incorporated into the pasta. AND THERE YOU HAVE IT my Nana's Pasta Zadar serve with either parmeasn or sheeps cheese!
